  • Wow !

    Fascinating stuff .

  • @osamyoosama Ah, biology has addressed the question of "what is life?" (admittedly not so human-centric as islam would like, but much more honest and humble, "how did life get here?", "what am I?", "how did all this complexity arise?", for the last 150 years! And biology has evidence! Massive amounts of it. And you want to suggest fairytales instead of actually understanding this magnificent world? Hilarious.

  • @szmako That's a fair point. Have you also considered religion in the context of natural selection? religion is definitely one of the reasons humans lived with such unity, with little difference in opinion that would drive them apart (non believers were sentenced to death until very recently). Maybe we needed religion to survive the last 3000 years on the planet, now there's no more evolutionary need for it, or rather that belief system has served it purpose.

  • I read Joseph Campbell for guidance of these subjects. Campbell was a brilliant historian; mythologist; archeologist and writer/author/lecturer/professor. He understood that all religion comes from the myths of aboriginal cultures. He also said, "There is no purpose to life--period; however, there is a purpose in your mind if you can find it within yourself." Read Campbell and it opens one's eyes to everything. IMO

  • @Darwin42ME

It is good to have people who see life as it is(evolution, natural selection etc.)! As I see it, religion is also a part of our ape like nature! Maybe I'm saying something stupid now, but the size of our brain is responsible for religion, society and the search for the origin of life etc.!

  • PURPOSE OF LIFE

What Does Islam Say About Life's Purpose?

    _________________________________

Have you ever asked yourself these questions?

    "What is the purpose of L I F E?"

    "My life?"

    "Your Life?"

People everywhere are asking the questions; "What is the purpose of life?" and "Why are we here?" You might be amazed to learn, that Islam is providing clear and concise answers for these questions.

(the same information can be stored in one's mind, expressed verbally, written on paper, typed on a computer etc.)

    (C) Code = Language. Language originates in a MIND.

There ore only two types of language known to man: (1) That of human mind origin (2) DNA code.
