so heres an updated video of Ginger and I within the past two months.
We're improving with the trot undersaddle and I'm slowly improving my seat and shes slowing down her trot and not rasing her head as much. I'm able to give to the bit more and getting out of my habit of pulling on the reins and shes starting to get way better about running through the bit. I'm trusting her more than in the last video. I walked her outside the arena for the first time, about 4 times so far. Shes gaining her confidence out there (shes naturally nervous/scared in new places, just who she is.. and that will never change but her bolts/spooks have gone from dangerous/careless to mostly in place) I'm so happy with her! I know every now and than some issue comes up, but we've worked through it and I feel so amazing to own her and I am so glad I have never given up on her. I know through this whole time of owning her I wished I had a bombproof horse, but I've gotten to trust her SO much more than I ever had and I know that will keep continueing.. shes a joy to ride. and It feels awesome knowing shes at her calmest with only me and is tense with other people, especially while riding.
