Some people in San Antonio are finding a new way to pay for the rising cost of gasoline, by donating blood. More people are donating plasma from their blood, to get extra cash, which will in turned be used for fuel. (May 16)
Jessica's car is still sitting in the driveway. And she's still riding her bike for transportation. She's still making those payments, though. She's donating much less frequently (to her mother's relief.) But she still says it is a good way to help others while helping herself.
Selling blood to get by in the economy is a bad sign lol

You ARE donating your plasma. You're being paid for your time. It's illegal to sell body parts or fluids.

You're not "donating, donating, donating...". You're SELLING your blood plasma. People who donate do it out of goodwill.

You don't get paid for donating blood. You can get paid for plasma.
