  • the real simple reason why this could work is because you´re gonna ignore the nerves when they tell you have pian pain pain... if you full trough like some other things if you ignore it it can stop, but the new info is that there is a catagorie that it probebly not gonne work, psychical stuff etc

  • I have had rsd for 15 yrs exercise is very painful but neceessary.

We have to keep our RSD parts moving to keep blood flow into the extremities and to

prevent muscle and bone atrophy and gross swelling.

  • You poor thing i know your pain *soft hug*

  • I can´t imagen that theire are still some therapist who really think that this gonne help... i have CRPS sence 4 years and my first therapist did the same to me like made me walk and they didn´t stop while i was screaming and crying. This kind of therapie doesn´t help it just make it worser...

  • This treatment seems like torture to me!

I'm suffering from CRPS in my right hand too... And my pain therapists always tells me, that is is absolutely important to be pain free and all treatments must not be painful.....

I wanted to know more about the girl? How that treatments are working for her?

  • also.... the patient here might well benefit from biofeedback and learning to control the emotion that surges with the pain. it is hard when you rarely sleep, etc. -- but then, everything seems hard when pain is this intense and never stops. concentrating on breathing, alone, makes a world of difference and can help a person tolerate even the worst sensations.

  • i'm sorry... but i seriously doubt the efficacy of this type of treatment. as someone with crps in both arms, both hands (for 9 years now....), i can say that causing this much pain rarely results in "gain." there are better ways to desensitize, better ways to "massage" -- mostly by having the patient do the work!
