Ethyl[Ethyanol] is the office feral cat that had kittens in an old gas pump down behind the building. Kittens died but she comes every morning and night for meals.

  • The life of a feral cat is short and painful. Fighting with other cats for food, avoiding all the 'other' wild animals, not to mention all the disease and sickness she isn't being treated for and noone to love her. It really makes me angry and sickened that there wouldn't be any feral cats if not for ignorant humans.

  • I agree, I was told when we did TNR that she was probably dumped because she is "friendly" and not wild like most ferals. One thing she has going for her she doesn't have to fight for food because I feed her and she is waiting for it and eats right away. So in one little way I have made her life a little easier, but I would love to see her trust again and be adoptable.

  • She seems like she needs a home and someone to take care of her. Living on the streets is horrible.

  • I have been feeding her since Oct when we found her. She will now let me put my hand/finger out and rub it with her nose. That is as close as we have been able to get to her and I am the only one. I can't take her I have a dog that would eat her. Right now she is sneaking in our office building when needed and gets fed. I just hate it when she could get run over and I can't treat her for fleas or ticks.

  • Aww, was she spayed yet?

  • you bet! Right after we knew she wasn't nursing and the kittens were gone-I guess they died all but one and it was probably picked up and taken home

  • @gringojoe58 i coul;d not say any better..i agree with you...irresponsible people are creating feral problem abandoning on the streets thinking they will be allright..they do not even bother neutering them..

  • Great job, feral cat friend. People say 'cat problem' when actually it's a people problem. Cats are domestic animals and live in the wild because of ignorant people not spaying and neutering their cats. People suck.

  • She was spayed 10 weeks after finding her and the kittens. I guess the vet did a little check and did give her a rabies shot. She won't let me touch her. But the day she was trapped the lady doing said she watched her put the trap out and wouldn't go in. I came down and told Ethyl to go eat breakfast and she walked right in. She was very calm in the cage too. She is one spoiled feral cat

  • Thanks for feeding her, I think a vet visit and a spay would be the next best thing for her. Sweet cats should be homed. Good luck with her!
