North Korea-UN Military Talks

North Korean generals met with the United Nations Command today in the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. Both sides exchanged demands in a meeting that lasted less than one hour.

STORY:
During a brief 46-minute meeting on Friday March 6, North Korean generals told the United Nations Command, or UNC, to stop the U.S.-South Korea joint military exercise.

The UNC told the North to stop threatening South Korea's commercial airlines.

The two sides met for the first time in seven years on Monday, March 2, when the North, which requested the talks, complained about U.S. military moves near the border and live-fire joint training.

North Korea linked the warning to next week's joint U.S.-South Korea military drills as a prelude to war.

The communist state has in recent weeks threatened to attack the South, and has been preparing its longest-range missile for launch.

The North also warned that it could not guarantee the safety of the South's commercial flights off the east coast of the Korean peninsula.

South Korea's Unification Ministry said the airlines had responded by diverting flights that approach the country from the east.

Both Koreas have about 1 million troops poised near their respective sides of the Demilitarized Zone. The dividing line has remained in place since the 1950-1953 Korean War, which ended in a ceasefire and not a formal peace treaty.

@ohmgrown1991 germany was not a random country than wanted land they had better technology than russia and u.s and also U.S and maybe russia can take on germany 1 on 1 but we had allies that wanted to help

It wasn't the all fighting will: rather, it was the fact that it was the entire world: Russia, England, U.S. and all their allies against little isolated Germany. If anything, countries like North Korea and Nazi Germany have far more impressive soldier fighting wills then pussy democratic sheep societies. At least in those countries the soldiers know the truth about what they are fighting for.

just remember Hitler thought he could do what no one els could but he FAILED! everyone thought he was gonna pull it off but again the allies have a better fighting spirit and think more tactical when push comes to shove ... don't ever forget that. .. democracy will always win . we are free to chose and if we choose to fight it is because we want to and we are happy to do so . we are not forced to fight .
