Sami Cetin Interviewed by Nintendo (Part 2)

Sami Cetin, ranked UK #1 of Super Mario Kart on the SNES and Director of the Super Mario Kart Time Trial World Rankings (http://www.mariokartplayers.com/smk/) provides some basic tips for Mario Kart Wii beginners and first time players who do not own the game yet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Nintendo were made aware that i am not a professional Mario Kart Wii player, only for Super Mario Kart (SNES). The purpose of this video was for promotion purposes for new gamers to buy and enjoy Mario Kart Wii, learn a few basics, and perhaps continue to purchase subsequent games in the Mario Kart Franchise in the future.

Dear budf1,

Thank you for your message, however i have to point out that Bowser and D.K.Jr do have the fastest top speed in the SNES Super Mario Kart. I am happy to show you vids to see..

Although i am ranked one of the top in the World at SNES Super Mario Kart, it is time consuming, so i dont play MKWii to a pro level. I did highlight several times below that Nintendo's aim was to use a champion of the original version and a younger player for promotional purposes and attract new players.

I am terribly sorry for the offensisve language. I just couldn't see how you could be a champion when your using the slowest characters in the game.

Although Bowser was the slowest he was easier to controll thats why he seems to be "fast" fro you because he is easy to controll... I could still pwn your Niece though.

No probs, often people watch a vid without reading the description which explains the reason why it was made.

Bowser and D.K.Jr have the fastest top speed,however they have slow acceleration. Once at top speed, keep to shortest racing lines & you will make the best times. I have a Mario Circuit 1 video if you like to see?

Also a live clip of me racing a French Champion; & my niece's actual race videos show some good Bowser vs D.K.Jr if you like to see those?

@budf1 That's 'cause the acceleration was slow for both Bowser and Donkey Kong Jr.. Toad and Peach are not that fast.

I own mario kart wii and DS. I have played every single Mario kart game except for the 2 arcade games

Cool stuff, it is a great game, i prefered the controls in MKDS a little though, though Super Mario Kart has the best handling for me.

Have you owned all of the Mario Kart games before? I have them all but havent played Mario Kart 64 or Double Dash in a while.
