Pole Barn 11-13

Barn is DONE !!!

well mostly done :)... there is always something else to be finish...

This weekend we split the firewood we cut down last week... it will season for the next year...

We finished the batons on the front and rear along with the sofits, north side trim and drip edge...

had a great couple of days and am ready for hunting season to start next weekend...

I posted a video of a 6 point buck that came within about 30 feet before being spooked... The video is not great but I kept it in anyways...

So this was the second week and the deer were moving... my cousin started out the day getting a nice large doe... he has been hunting for years and this was his first deer... a great day for him....

I ended the day with a smaller doe... two came through the larger one was in the rear... The smaller one stepped out 30 yards away and stopped... I figured the sure thing was better the hoping they both would not bolt. Opening week I would have waited... second week I'm not so picky...

@carrabec99 Thats the plan.. two weeks in a row I have had deer come within 30 feet of me... now if they will only come back...
