my dad had 1970 428 cobra jet mustang hardtop

I have a Demon 850 on mine, gets about 6 mpg. It's not a daily driver,so I don't worry to much about it.

thats true, the older oldsmobile big blocks posted hp and tq ratings at very low rpms so that the specs used by insurance wouldn't cause the cars to be super expensive to insure. but that was back in the day :(

V8's make more power because they have more cylinders. yes they do get poor gas milage but, when you smash the gas petal and get thrusted back in the seat as the engine screams bloody marry it's worth all the money you spend on it.
