Brilliant! (especially the guy with the baseball cap :-))

The Murren route looks great, and I'd love to try to Rotstock. I'm heading back to the Lauterbrunnen Valley next summer.
I'm assuming that these routes are controlled access. Do they rent gear, or do you need to bring your own?

These routes have no control, just turn up and go. The Murren route does have a collection box ajong the route. Local sports shop will rent out the necessary gear.

The first half of the video is the route newly opened in 2008 which starts in the centre of Murren and goes diagonally down to Gimmelwald. The second is at the base of the Eiger North Face, reached in about half an hour by following the Eiger Trail from the Eigergletscher station on the Jungfraujochbahn.
