  • I meet the guy is John (: he is great

  • @banedoggy No, these guys had talent, too.

  • @fenderbass1966 One tries, hahahaaa!!...Thanks for the comment, I do love a bit of sarcasm. Heeehheee!!.............But when someone comes in trying to be superior they really should know what they're talking about, huh?................Cheers buddy.

  • @gawagney Know all.

  • The Beatles influence really carried. I can't believe they did that much of a fashion copy - I can see some things but this............. Whats the make/manufacturer on the lead guitar

  • @lyndloo Before you make future mistakes, The Merseybeats became The Merseys in 1966 at the insistance of their managers, Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp......It's a very well known story actually. You should do a bit of research and find out (before you go on to make another gaff, as you already have. Along with the superior, 'Excuse me etc., etc.')....By the way, That's when they recorded, 'Sorrow'......Byee.

  • @banedoggy: Exactly! LOL

  • I know they were first The Merseybeats. The band imploded and the two singers became The Merseys. I'm quite aware of these facts. "Sorrow" by The Merseys is a fantastic record.

  • @moorlock2003 excuse me my freind but they were calledThe Merseybeats not Merseys !! back in the 60s' and did have a big hit with Sorrow chek it out !!

  • Wiki; The Merseybeats became well known for their distinctive style of fashion. They were credited as the 'Best Looking Group', dressed in tight-fitting suits with bolero jackets and frilly shirts. Their outfits, complete with high-heeled zip boots, provoked hysteria from their female fans .. great band!
