  • If he REALLY CARED about the kids, he would DONATE all PROCEEDS from this MOVIE to the CHILDREN! He would PAY their TUITION for a PRIVATE SCHOOL?

That is if any PRIVATE SCHOOL will accept them? Most private schools are very selective on who they accept in their schools.

Blaming the TEACHERS is akin to a FAT LADY blaming her WEIGHT WATCHER'S counselor!

Kids don't pay attention and don't do their homework! Then, wonder why they fail? Duh?

  • This is a great and important film. Anyone who cares about education in America should see it. It is very truthful, sad, and yet still hopeful. Solutions exist, we just need the will to implement them.

  • I am curious to see this film but am wondering if it will be slanted that everything is the schools fault? When do parents take responsibility for their child's education? When is the student responsible for paying attention, behaving and always trying their best? It is a four way partnership; the school, the parents, the student and the govt. to fund properly. Most public schools aren't allowed to require anything from parents such as a box of kleenex let alone retaining, summer schl, ect.

  • It is very moving that he is sad that the local public schools are not as good as the private school his children attend. It seems to me that the obvious solution is to provide high-value vouchers so that the children in those schools can have the opportunity to go to the good school. My question for Davis Guggenheim and others is: would you support politicians who promise to make that happen?

  • I was immediately drawn into this promotion. It felt so sincere.

    ...I'm speechless ...dumbstruck
