Simple Coke Can Stirling engine

A simple coke can Stirling engine running off two candles. It needs some proper water cooling, you can see the speed increase when I add cold water and then the gradual decrease in speed after the water warms up.

ive been working on one of these. however i keep on encountering a problem. when i turn the flywheel, it only turns about 1 or 1 1/2 times...how can i fix this problem? i followed every step, but the only problem is it doesnt spin very well...plz help asap

@phoshizzo You could try replacing one or both of the bearings with sheet metal ? It sound like something is not well aligned though. Perhaps loosen the balloon.

hook up the spinning disk to a water pump and put a coil of pipe through ice in a cooler and run the cold water back through engine to cool it. once warmed by engine the water then leaves the engine and goes back through the ice, repeating the process. then hook the engine up to whatever you want.
