hm it isn't strange that it is china specifically due to its population. but still large efforts are done, especially in solar power. And some of these comments on youtube seem to blame china specifically which has no basis. This isn't an issue of any specific nation but to the entire humanity (as we all are responsible) to find out new sources of energy and to establish it in societal contexts.

This doesn't take into account historical cumulative air pollution. Overall since the start of the industrial age the US has produced 3 times more CO2 than China. the average US citizen produces 4 times more CO2 than the average Chinese person.

The United States needs to start manufacturing it's own goods, especially during times of war. We are making the chinese richer, therefore, contributing to the pollution problem.
