Raccoon VS Dog

Today's prize fight brought to you direct from AWE
(Animal Wrestling Entertainment).
Filmed in Maryland at my uncle and aunt's farm.
Summer 2009

Francis (the raccoon) was orphaned at a very young age. My cousins brought her back to their farm to take care of her, and she ended up thinking Teddy (the dog) was her actual mother. She followed Teddy around enough and eventually Teddy "adopted" her.

They're not really fighting. This is more like a parent rough-housing with his child. Makes for a really cute video!

I scored it for Francis also, 2 rounds to 1.

I had Teddy winning round 1, striking less but landing the harder blows.

After round 1, it was all Francis. He was the aggressor, and had Teddy in a defensive shell for rounds 2 & 3, with the decisive blow coming at the end of round 3.

I think Teddy's got to hit the gym, and wonder if he really has the heart, the desire, to keep doing this. He's not getting any younger.

For Francis, the new golden coon, the sky is the limit.

the golden retriever could've killed that raccoon in one bite but golden retrievers are very friendly so they wouldn't do that
