Traditionally a mountain crop, burley tobacco is now being grown in the piedmont and coastal plain areas
of North Carolina. We visit one piedmont farmer who is happy he is making the change to burley.

  • hello i am a groer from europe please can you help me with same information about burley tobaccco. I whant to know if you spray with anything for mature tobacco beafore you harvesting.

  • @adi866 The best that I can see is that you spray mainly for weeds. I will check with one of our people here to see what you spray with.

    I would just like to thank you for helping me to choose my tobacco type

    It is in the garden here in kansas now and I am real happy with it

    lots of nitrogen lots of water and little heat

    you are so right. Curing i am still learning but I have got good smoking at just a week or two
