  • @LoverGurl77983 Excellent points. Although I must add that for awhile I too didn't want to go to the movies by myself either, but then once I had to - and I loved it! I wouldn't recommend it all the time, but it can be a fun change of pace! :)

  • Onion reference?

  • I try and watch movies as often as I can, but the two things that hold me back are time and money. Hollywood can't help how much time I have in my personal life, but box office tickets sure are getting pricey these days. When I do go I rarely pay more money to see it in 3D and even more rarely do I see it in IMAX, though I actually really like the latter.

  • Well, the #1 reason why I don't go to the cinema anymore is because there is no cinema to go to - and I for one really miss it.

  • Fast Five wasn't stupid and it was fun to watch. Transformers was stupid and it was sort of fun. Also, I didn't care about the humans plan.

My area is spoiled by the local theater. It's a really nice and nicely priced place. But I hardly went because many just didn't seem interesting enough or the whole friends are busy and don't want to go by yourself thing.

  • Grace you should consider doing reviews or a MM on the many excellence indie movies being released these days, it would give your viewers more options.

  • Wow, grace, you made such amazing points. It's so true what you said. I took a film as art class and in the textbook it talked about the whole A movie and B movie phenomena. Now, as you said, its quality and crap

  • I really don't go to the movies anymore, I just use NetFlix, and it's cheaper.

Also, about the Fast Five thing, I'm surprised it got positive reviews even though it's fun, loud and kind of long, but it also does have cheesy dialogue why doesn't Transformers get the same praise? They're both fun, loud, kind of long, and have cheesy dialogue. It's just kind of silly that people can go into movies like Fast Five with no brain and enjoy it, but go into Transformers with a brain and hate it.

  • I am number 4

    Hanna

    Final destination 5

Were the only movies Ive seen so far

Over all I'm not interested in most of the movies that have come out, that's why I hardly go to the movies

    Annoying teenagers are another reason!

  • THE ONLY Reason people dont go to the movies is because they see to many movie Reviews. Har Har Har
