The older he seems to get Lindsay Buckingham has always been so handsome, hes never been given the recignition he deserves 4 being one of the best non pick players. The way he plucks those stings with just his fingers is amazing to watch, I can watch his "Big Big Love" song over & over.

i think that the major appeal of FM is the turmoil representing to everybody that many people don't get 'it' right the first time.

especially in a song like this, people are always looking to redemption despite their mistakes,

"i know i could have loved you but you would not let me," maybe i'm just naive, but i think that people were so interested in this couple not for the dirty laundry factor, but because they identified with struggling to 'get it right'.
