Are you sure this works because its been a little over a week since this virus came and all my files/documents, favorites on my computer, icons, and many others are gone. So I need 100% confirmation before I try this. And if it does work will all my files/documents, other programs and many others will return. Reply soon

Ok guys, if you're running Windows Vista or Windows 7 make sure that you locate your "Desktop" folder under your user profile. Right click your Desktop folder and deselect the "hidden" attribute. If you're running Windows XP, make sure you do the same but in Documents in Settings and then locate your Desktop folder. If anyone is lost please email us and we can send you our detailed guide. The entire desktop and themes can still be recovered after the removal of this virus.

Anytime! On my website I have AntiVirus that you can purchase and download from the internet. It especially benefits individuals who have networks. The software that I have listed are all very effective against rogue AntiVirus software like the aforementioned windows seven recovery virus.

This is where you'll go search "Folder Options" and re-enable the hidden items. You should be able to utilize your wallpaper again after that.

Make sure you're absolutely in "Safe Mode with Networking." The virus cannot interfere with downloading and installation in this mode. If you still have problems with it, email me personally at Tigris.computing@gmail.com.
