rubbish, forehand net lift will never put pressure to ur opponent. its the last shot u will ever wanna play.
for the shuttle to reach the rear end when hitting it low from the net, it must follow a very high trajectory. which means u will have time to get into position, and yet ur opponent will also have lots of time to get into position as well, and u can expect a good jump smash etc.

its good, but where is the "hold" ?

Assuming you have good deception skills, it's one of the best shots you can play near the net. If you keep the opponent guessing, a lift will give you more time to get into better position, while forcing your opponent to drop, clear, or do a weak smash.
If you're playing doubles, however, that's a completely different story. You always want to keep the shot angled down, so only play a net lift if it's your last resort.
