http://www.geothermalheatingcooling.org/ - Learn how geothermal heat pump converts ground source energy into a heating and cooling energy for your home.

Geothermal energy is one of the cheapest sources of renewable energy. The thermal energy from the ground is converted into heat or cold using a heat pump, and it costs only 25% compared to the cost of electric baseboard heating - eg., geothermal heating and culling is 4 times more efficient than electric heating and air-conditioning.
