Crouch jump is for pros,motherfuckas

I never knew i could use my kz experiance like this :) does that bhopping really increase your velocity so much?
-
this reminds me of cs 1.6 jump maps. ahh the old days XD

Hahaha it's like Quake, but 4 times slower :D

@TF2MrTBagSwell it's called airchanging...

In most cases, it may seem that you'd be better off walking.

0:18 is impossible

yeah, for that granary jump you need the little air strafe "squiggle" that i do before landing to get that tiny bit of extra distance to make the ledge. its the hardest jump in the movie by far, was a pain to make, took a long while

Can you suggest any client settings to increase performance of bhopping?

@DeselectYourMind not really im afraid. tickrates cannot be changed in tf2 like most other source games (its forced at 66, 100 is easier to bhop on) and sv_airaccelerate is essentially a hidden command that you again cant change yourself easily. However you can change it somehow with some kind of plugin i think - surf servers use it. in reality though it wont make bhoping much easier in game like tf2, its pretty impractical and only gives a small speed increase no matter what commands you use

How come you say bunny hopping is real yet it seems you're doing it anyway. I don't get it, was bunny hopping in TF2 a real thing or was it never possible!?

@abarna01 the deal is that years ago back around release, you could bhop much faster than you can today, but valve introduced a patch to vastly reduce the speed increase. most people assumed for a long time that you gained no speed increase from bunny hopping from then on. however, you do still gain a slight increase, enough to make jumps that you wouldnt be able to do without strafing beforehand

Ah ok, so it does exist. Question: do you think it works on the 360? Also, I watched a tutorial on how to do it and it's hard as hell to try it using a controller. I mean it's one thing trying to do it successfully on the PC, but with a controller, it seems like I'm wasting my time.

to be honest, yes you would pretty much be wasting your time with a controller. i mean, you simply need the mouse to get smooth and perfect strafe angles, among loads of other things where really youre only going to be able to do adv techniques with the keyboard and mouse
