@geovettes i dont think monster from hell was the worst, that has to go to horror, obvious choice I know, I felt FATMFH was a throw back in the final years to a traditional hammer at a time when US horror blockbusters of modern devils was setting the trend and they themselves were turning to bus comedies and Dracula in swinging Chelsea, the plot was weak, the monster a bit mixed up but it was a final gothic outing from hammer.

Lol ...I think you're missing the actual point of these frankenstein movies.

I saw this yesterday on TCM on Halloween when they were showing mostly hammer films all day. This really has to be the strangest retelling of Frankenstein I have seen. I enjoyed it, but without spoiling the plot I just don't think this can truly be called a Frankenstein movie. It seems like a a story just barely resembling Frankenstein with the name slapped on to gain attention.
Please don't misunderstand me though. I love Hammer, and I would watch this movie again.

i think this is probably the second best out of hammer's frankenstein series. curse of frankenstein being the best, frankenstein and the monster from hell being the worst.
