On Friday evening, Dec. 9, 2011, a rally for jobs and justice was held at the h/q of Council 67 AFSCME, in Baltimore, MD. The event was sponsored by the National Action Network (NAN), in conjunction with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and AFSCME. Popular radio talk show host, Sen. Larry Young, and Marvin "Doc" Cheatham, both of Baltimore's NAN, helped to organize and run the program. It was all part of a 25-cities job and justice rallies launched by NAN's Founder and Chair, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Jr. This video contains excerpts from the evening's session.

  • we do need jobs. I just wish that our number one and only job was to take care of ourselves and our family. In this world most of us are capable of taking care of ourselves with thie proper knowledge. Liberty and Freedom is what I believe in.
