  • The Cream EP is a wonderful little piece. But then I heard the LP when it came out and remember being pretty disappointed.

  • Yes as in my reply to another comment, I saw them 3 times live before the LP came out and they were great. However, the LP suffered from poor production.

  • I saw her when Tiny Monroe played Gloucester Guild Hall in the mid 90's (95 I think). Talk about rubbish, 3/4 of us walked out part the way through. So I'm surprised to see she is still in music.

  • Well I saw them 3 times. Supporting The Pretenders at Sheffield's Leadmill and Leeds T&C and also at Leeds Duchess of York and just remember them being brilliant every time. Also, I know that Chrissie Hynde especially wanted to give them a break by having them as support on their tour.

  • An absolutely brilliant band!!!!!! For the sad people who walked out on such music, I'm sure Tiny Munroe wouldn't have noticed you going! Venues were usually packed out. NJ is absolutely beautiful with a distinctive and gorgeous voice.

  • going to see alex the guitarist soon : )

  • @SheilaCrosby alex, one of the guitarist is in a new band, and they were on the radio the other day : )

  • Saw them at the Astoria, just after the EP came out. Poor things had their instruments stolen and played shit on borrowed equipment and gave up because the sound was wrong.

  • can anyone upuload VHF 855V ?

  • To me main strength of that EP, other than the songs of course ('Sonic Blue' is absolutely gorgeous), is that they're not trying too hard-- it's effortlessly good. In the mid 90s (especially after Oasis came about) there were a ton of UK bands that seemed to be trying to be the next fookin-best-band-in-the-world. I always liked the Cream EP cos there was none of that nonsense. I like Phil Vinall's production too. Then the LP came out and it seemed like they fell into the trap with everyone else.

  • i bought the album

  • Truly great band that never achieved their just desserts. Join their facebook group today!
