I also remember watching this live. Sad that the modern prima donna drivers no longer give commentary like the old days. Some of the best commentary lines were given by by the drivers. Dick Johnson came out with some classic one liners in his time.

Back then that in car camera weighed over 70 kgs and there were no allowences for weight at the time....He had to carry the extra.

I do recall him saying on Conrod straight he was doing "about 130mph" just so you could get an idea as to how fast the Toranas were as one was about to pass him like he was standing still!!

What is it's Horsepower and Torque, 0-100kph, standing quarter mile and racing car weight with that heavy camera in?
