  • Hi, I bidded a nice Holton soprano sax few months ago , sound sweet with good intonation even compared to the modern ones. I wonder if your tenor is repadded by yourself, and do they have plastic or metal resonators? my sop. sax. needs repadding so I hope you get some idea from you.

  • @kskr777 Hi. No, I'm not clever enough to repair saxophones! I don't think it has any resonators. I don't think they had been invented in the 1920s!

  • Nice sound, definitely old school. You have nice technique.

  • @abukamoon Thank you for the kind words; appreciate it!

  • Hi, great! what mpc do you play on it?

  • @Edunei Hi.. Otto Link Tone Edge 6. Rico 2 1/2 reeds. Best wishes GM

  • @kskr777 BTW, really nice sound, both the player and the sax!!!

  • @allthatjazz2000 Thx for your response, pads on my sop sax also have no resonator too, I find it little stuffy and lack of power on the bottom, so I may repad them with reson. ones, but I figured out that all pads have a considerably thicker than standard ones, I'm really bothered.

  • Nice sound......I´m thinking on buy one of these, I play an old Conn Wonder tenor circa 1916, sounds great, it´s another kind of sound.....

  • @MrMrderosier Thanks for commenting. Silver plated and white! sounds cool!
