Love this guy to bits. However he plays the same solo constantly. Please either do a bit more improv or compose another solo spot. Sorry Reb. I do love you though (atitude, sense of humour, performance etc etc)

reb is suck...out of tune !!

Exactly. Eddie is playing in a Major key. Reb is...well Reb. Malmsteen did it with a Harmonic Minor Scale, but would still pick the notes while he was volume swelling. I want to know what Reb stepped on before he busted out he wah pedal. I think it is a very unique solo. You can tell when Reb Beach is playing.

In almost every note played in this solo there is a STRONG EVH influence. The bottom line is if you know about Ed and play guitar you'll understand that. If you don't then you probably won't.

it's the same delay trick, completely different musically. remember kids, pat travers and david gilmour did this back in the 70's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Eddie like. Still, Reb & Winger are ridiculously talented.
Yes, Reb is using a delay set to dotted eights, and yes, Eddie did that in Cathedral. But Reb is doing something completely different with his delay. He's going in a completely different direction, not even close to the classical tonality of Cathedral. Hundreds of guitarists have used the dotted eight delay for all sorts of things, on many recordings, from May, to Malmsteen to Zappa, to Bettencourt. All different. All great. Beach's tapping technique is also very, very different from EVH.

Reb doesn't hide jis influenes. So what if he likes VH, Ed wasen't the first to do everything and you aren't the first jackass to rag on somebody for playing music. Just listen and enjoy cause Rebs the man
