  • can there be liquid flyash inside the boiler that through the sight glass look like a liquid? just curious. please reply. and is it something to worry about? one side is empty one side has the liquid u see in the sight glass.

  • @KnittingPasta Heres the irony.Asbestos in most situations is safe as long as you dont disturb it.

  • I remember that and wondered if it was a Nat Gas leak. Serious stuff. Miracle nobody was killed. 150 lb steam and no DEA? Amazing.

  • I was in the instrumentation lab right across from the boiler house when it went up. It was quite a fluke that nobody was very seriously hurt or killed.

    Your video is the first complete summary and explanation of the incident. Up until now, I had only heard 3rd-hand that it was a failed weld, but never knew for sure. Thanks a lot for posting this.
