Bringing down the economy would be overtaxing their labour, or giving blank checks in the trllions to the rich, or the pentagon losing 2.3 trillion dollars, a few hundred dollars or food stamps to the poor isnt whats bad for the economy. what about billions for war? The list is endless

I agree. What's funny is that without the influx of illegal immigrants into Louisiana after Katrina , the recovery effort would not be as far along as it has come.
