The chain on my 93 NightHawk 750 has a bad master link.

  • This was the chain that was on the bike when I bought it a year ago. It's since been replaced twice and I put about 30,000 miles on the bike. lol.

  • problem very evident. master link is wrong pitch, or stretched to kingdom come and causing obvious issue. very typical of off brand parts, sometimes happens with good quality stuff too.

    best fix is remove that link and replace with new one.

  • i always use a master link Clip.

  • looks like you have a badly worn masterlink....or maybe the link isnt the correct link for the type of chain

  • that can only be explained by wrong pitch. its like a 520 master link on a 525 sprocket set

  • Your chain is too tight

  • this chain is doggy...get a new link asap

  • did u use old chain whit new sprocket if yes its no good to do it

  • @pred8tr it looks like you need lube and new masterlink

  • if u changet the sprocket you have 2 change the chain and the other driven sprocket
