  • Just not the same anymore...a great stadium and a grand atmosphere... lost now to bland corperate marketing and greedy fools with unrealistic visions.

Why do we let pinstriped pricks ruin working class culture?

  • I'm a Colchester fan, and we've just moved from our original Layer Road ground to a plastic out-of-town all-seater piece of crap stadium, and the heart has been ripped out of our club too - I feel your pain.

  • are these pictures from the last game there was a band on the pitch before kick off at the last game

  • Was at the last game at Burnden Park, Come up with another Charlton fan, Some Bolton fans took us into a pub, Before the game, And we got well pissed, After the game, We got taken on a pub crawl, On Halliwell Road And ended up crashing at some lads house, Went back to London the next day. The Bolton fans were great to us, Good Lads. Northern hospitality at its best. Hope you stay up this season.

  • Brought a tear to mi eye cheers for posting the video spent many years goln to burnden great days not the same at reebok

  • @jimmyg34567 I knew it was '97, I was just surprised the Ford Ka had been out so long. It seems like a newer car to me than that. I thought it was only 5 or 6 years old.

  • @duranfan1985 the last game there was 1997

  • Awww i loved that place, remember it as a kid my dad took me to vs barnsley i think it was McGinley hatrick, penalty sending off and even had a streaker LOL Reebok can be good on a nice day but will never be the same :-(

  • When did the Ford Ka come out? Surely it's not old enough to be in those pictures!

  • @madwebby28

It was a great time to start. I do still miss that ground. Absolutely gutted to hear Nat's died tonight, he was an absolute club legend. He'll be remembered well by every fan at the club. RIP Lofty.

  • From a Burnley fan a real ground I hope we never leave Turfmoor the same is true of Stoke what a shame
