Here's a rundown of how to assemble the R2-D2 dome lighting system designed by John "Teeces" V from the Astromech.net forums. This video features Version 3 of his Arduino-based system, including logic displays and PSI's with optional hookups for Holoprojector LEDs.
This first video in the series covers soldering the Rear Logic Display's components (not the LEDs), and testing it out with an Arduino Pro Mini and Pololu 5v regulator.
