Well Said Chuck. I like to have contract no matter how honest both parties are. What if that person died before you were paid?

@amy2x A judgement call. This was an inherited house, the man was executor.
My work and price speak for themselves so no one better to do the job no matter who was writing the checks. Started with just the kitchen. Then the rest.
I listen to the 'Still Small Voice'. If I do not like or trust the customer I do not do business with them and I tell them to do the same.
