it's a preference thing. beardies are more relaxed and certainly easiest to handle and are also one of the easiest lizards to take care of but i dont find them to be too interactive. tegus can be a handful so they will require a lot of time and care but you might find it to be rewarding.

I see you have a ball python nearby. (Another great reptile!) I'm surprised your beardie isn't scared. Or, I guess she's too focused on stuffing her face to realize that there is a snake there. :)

Aya is the boss. She doesn't care if there's a snake nearby. In fact she'll go up to Ofelia (my BP) and attempt to lick her outside the cage LOL! So yeah she's pretty much fearless :)

Which do you like keeping better? Uromastyx or bearded dragons?

I honestly don't have a preference; I love both of them. I recently gave my baby uro to my sister (but she got stuck in a crevice underneath the sink...we can't get her out and don't know where she is currently) but my beardie Aya will always be my first baby. =)
