Cannock Chase - Monkey trail best bits (Upper Cliff) with faceplant

Upper Cliff black run screwed up the 1st rock garden - not enough speed, managed to do the main rock garden and then through lack of concentration, wrong line or was it actually the curse of Mr SeanShrimp?! faceplanted into the ground - ouch ouch ouch blood and snot in the last frame.

Personally I way prefer full Suss but hard tail would work. Better to have a good hard tail than a poor full Suss

is it best to buy a hardtail bike or a full sus for these trails??? would love some advice
