I love how Hitchcock is confident enough to be really funny in this trailer. I'm sure a lot of horror directors would go for a creepy narration or the like for a teaser, but Alfred knows that he doesn't have to resort to that. His movie is scary enough in its own right that he can make a little fun of it.

Read the Biography "It's Only a Movie"- it tells a different Hitchcock. My favorite director and ultimately the best. Sadly, the new movie "Hitchcock" was not as good. Words of advice to Jessica Biel: You looked nothing like the real Vera Miles.

Being 17 I have plenty of time to study movies like these so I can make movies like the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock. I believe that the unseen is scarier than if you actually see it. Halloween original is a perfect example of how a horror movie should be made, little blood, great plot, great acting and you don't see the killing actually happening or you can barley see it.
