  • @overkill54 he teaches in vancouver bc at a music shop, it was an awesome lesson, i cant imagine how advanced i would be if i lived in vancouver and had lessons on a regular basis, i live out of town so i cant have lessons on a regular basis

  • @ProgMetalPortnoy10 Wow that is impressive! How did you manage to get a lesson with him? I got a drum stick from him after a show in Chicago and I was soo pumped I couldn't imagine a lesson lol

  • @overkill54 Funny you say that, i took a lesson with him not to long ago, he showed me a few fills that some very incredible drummers, ie: Mike Portnoy, got there minds blown by, but yes i totally agree, he does groove very well with the band, the man is a beast on the kit :)

  • Ya know Ryan doesn't have that much mind blowing stuff but the way he can groove with a band is just great. I love him with Devin

  • Yep I was thinking that is sounds remarkably similar to primus' style as well.

  • Ryan will be playing on my next album along with another great drummer. This will be my first release with someone on the drums other than me. It should be out in the fall.

  • Les is more ...

  • .... yes so he's certanly a fan of lesclaypool, that's what i said

  • I can't believe it, Fingersmoran, one of my favourite bassists, and my favourite drummer from my favourite band...on the same stage....playing together!! O.O

  • He has a 'Les Claypool' , or kinda a 'primus' rhythem/sound .
