I attended Stella Maris in Kobe Japan a couple of months when I was six and then again throughout fourth grade. Stella Maris/Kaisei is run by The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. The school used to have tuition in English as well as in Japanese.

Today tuition is in Japanese only and Kaisei is now a renowned college for women.

I went to Stella Maris high school, graduating in 1972. Then, I travelled, 15 min by foot to station, 30min of train ride, then I climbed up 30 min to the Stella Maris, located on top of the hill every day to go to school. Thanks to great education I received, I have a great profession in USA. Thank you Stella Maris teachers! and all our Stella Maris friends!
