  • A note from one of your subscribers- if you can even keep up with comments these days--- it's been awhile since you posted anything new. I wonder if you're ok, and if you're ever going to treat your followers to more lovely piano music?

  • @carolchill Sorry I haven't posted anything in ages, I've been dealing with alot of things in my life, both good and bad. But I promise that I will post again someday. I have alot of ideas for future videos that aren't just contained to ragtime or even piano, so stay tuned!

And in case you're wondering; yes, I read every single comment that people post on my videos. I'm still amazed at how many people this music has reached, and I don't take your support for granted.

    Thank you.

  • Every time i eat a pineapple i listen to this song.

  • I've been listening to your rags for a while now, and I have to say, I've absolutely fallen in love with this performance. I've heard a dozen other versions, but... none quite capture the feeling like you do. This is the ultimate inspiration for me. Thank you so much for pouring your passion into this music. Wonderful, truly.

  • I'm 10 & learning this for my grade 7. Quite a good piece, actually

  • Ma picchì t'annachi ? ( sicilian)

    Ma perchè dondoli? ( italian)

But why do you swing ? ( english)

  • what do you make of the version with strings in it?

  • @chocotiger chin up bro. Was here in 2008, and back now, it's still the best!

  • dude i love your renditions. they are unbeat

  • I love listening to some great ragtime players like Glen Jenks, Bill Westcott, or of course Claude Bolling... But I have to say you definately bring something in rag-playing, since, where most pianists seems to play in a "chopped" or "ragged" way (yes, it makes sense... ^^), your playing feels more emotionnal, and sometimes less "mechanical". It seems that you put your guts in your interpretation, and this gives an amazing rendition !

For sure a great source of inspiration, thank you for that.

  • Bravo ! - you have brilliant timing, not too fast. Bravo again !!!

  • @speechrighter

This guy is really good, but you should search for "bach scholar joplin" on Youtube for the real master :-)

  • very cool

  • This guy is definitely the best pianist playing Joplin on YouTube.
