What amazes me is that Paul used to and still does play these bass difficult bass lines and sing and the same time. I used to play bass and singing and playing is really difficult.

Of all the bass versions of this song I like yours best as you seem to approach the bass part like a guitar player and not a bass player. The way you play the riff is a point in case. Paul was originally a guitar player and built his bass parts thinking in guitar chords. A prime example is the chorus of "Lucy in the sky with diamonds": the bass part is easy if you know the guitar chords! Just watch some of the other videos and notice how "real" bass players make things difficult for themselves!
