My review of a new fixed blade collaboration between knife designer Dirk Pinkerton and Meyerco. The Pinkerton Persian is full tang with G-10 handle scales, and a blade of 440c, almost four inches in length, with a deep hollow grind, swept back tip, and full belly. This is some welcome innovation by Meyerco at a good price, I will keep an eye on their new line.

  • @23davvy - *High five!*

  • I'm that 25% : ) Just ordered it, cause you are the King of reviews!

  • @MrEvelDoer - Thanks, Evel!

  • Knifecenter has it but it comes in 7cr17 steel, not 440C. Any idea when yours were made? Looks like an excellent value knife as long as I can find one in 440C.

  • @scottcho - Not sure exactly when mine was made, but yeah it was a while ago that I bought it.

  • Great video

  • Looks like it could make a pretty slick little pikal knife with some sharpening

  • @xiuxiu1313 Me too, I always try to keep an open mind about knife companies, I see them making an effort to innovate and the prices are nice. ~Israel

  • I'm pretty impressed with what Meyerco has been putting out lately.

  • Nice review brotha!

  • Hello, I purchased two of these from Amazon based on your review I like the Persian style blades great for cutting blocks. thx

  • nice..... only cheap knives that are worth buying are fixed blades.

  • Looks like Meyerco are doing some good stuff. Neck knife? Maybe for a giraffe :) Nice review.

  • thats the good thing with fixed blades. sometime you can take a chance on a cheap knife being decent. no moving parts means less to screw up. this looks cool. its amazing what makers call neck knives these days. some huge fuckers. the neck machete.. buy one now.

  • @vininull Hey thanks man, I see you are doing great with your reviews too, man I wish I could speak Russian, I still watch your reviews sometimes even if I don't understand the words! ~Israel

  • Thanks for this review Israel. I was waiting for it since I saw it in your knife box.

  • I've never been much on neck knives, but I like the persian style blades. Thanks

  • I have a few of Dirk's custom knives. The one I got from him in person at a show may literally be one of the nicest knives I've ever seen from him. It's a Variable Broadhead in Chad Nichols Interrupted Ladder Damascus. It's one hell of a little fixed blade.

  • I just subscribed to your channel, that's the first knife review I saw from you.

Good video lenght, not too short and not too long. You talked about everything I wanted to know about the product, you did good close ups with good lighting.

The only thing missing could have been a cut test but besides that its a great review.

Im glad I subscribed to your channel, very nice work!
