"Astronomy from Space: The Hubble, and James Webb Space Telescopes" was a talk by Jonathan Gardner at the Opening Ceremony of the International Year of Astronomy 2009.
Jonathan P. Gardner is the Chief of the Observational Cosmology Lab and the Deputy Senior Project Scientist for the James Webb Space Telescope at NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center.
This video presentation, from the ceremony held in UNESCO, Paris is featured on the IAF channel courtesy of the International Astronomical Union and UNESCO.
The event was co-ordinated by the Observatoire de Paris.

There is Astronomy on the ground and there is Astronomy from space. We humans have a better view of Outer Space from Space because there is less atmosphere, pollution to deal with when looking through a telescope.
