???? Wind and Wuthering is Genesis post-Gabriel with Collins on vocals. Matter of fact, W&W comes nearly six years after Collins joined the band and is the second album where he had the full lead on vocals, although is first lead vocal effort came around 1971 on the album Nursery Cryme on For Absent Friends.

This version is too beautiful. As a huge Genesis fan, especially the pre-Collins era, I have to say that Wind and Wuthering will always my favourite album by them.

I reach a nice higher level of spirituality when I listen to this song. THNX GENESIS!

THANK YOU...
@Pragwo1f Thanks at least for acknowledging that it wasn't all Collins. Personally I don't mind the change, but the truth is that ALL the remaining members had a hand in the change. They began to POP even before Phil started contributing ideas. It is my attitude that there is only so many songs about epic battles and horned creatures you can make and hope to keep it fresh. Phil wasn't the only Prog Rocker to understand this.

The key to the demise of Genesis was not Gabriel's departure, but that of Steve Hackett. The two best Genesis albums, Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering are testament to that. Always loved this track, my all time Genesis favourite. Tragic that after Hackett's departure the band bagain to sell itself by the pound...
