Rioting over women's rights in Bangladesh - 12 April 08

What started as a demonstration against women's rights after Friday prayers, turned into a full blown riot.

About a thousand protestors, most members of the Anti-Koran Law Resistance Committee, which advocates Sharia law, expressed their anger over the government's plans to give women more rights.

Al Jazeera's Hannah Belcher reports.
