  • "Freedom of movement"? What has that to do with global warming?

  • Google "climate refugee" if you want to know what that has to do with the No Borders movement.

  • The use of those terms betrays that you do not understand the issues or that your definitions of refugees is so far from mine that further discussion would be futile. I await your spurious strawman logic or ad hominen attack, but I aint holding my breath.

  • You mean "with bated breath". I was refuting your substantive claims, that no borders "folk" are "about" climate refugees (amongst others), and that we are stupid. Your fatuous reply has serious definitional and categorical problems including those around the terms "known", "groups", and "legitimate"

  • @beneaththepavement

Then you should have no trouble listing the known groups of legitimate climate refugees, their point of origin and their destination. I'll wait, breathlessly.

  • yes we are about climate refugees. i have a PhD. Enough refutation?

  • @kombatrock

Sorry, I didn't actually address your response. Bull! The open borders folks aren't about climate refugees, if they are then they are idiots in addition to being anarchists or whatever childish bullshit they fancy themselves.

  • @kombatrock

Naomi Klein's first complaint in reporting on Copenhagen was that the "rich" countries weren't going to send 800 billion dollars to "developing nations" for what sounded a lot like some construct of reparation.

This is about money. Environmentalism and Global Warming Theology are not the same thing.
