it is a very well ritten soong the lyrics are really beautifuel if you get the meaning of it and the music is really advanced and well played for that times music ! så derfor er den bare så god !!!!

@MyBfd It won because Norway did something very naughty. In the final part of the voting, when it became clear that Denmark might have a chance to win, Norway quickly changed votes in favour of Denmark. People are still angry about this. I know a guy here in the Netherlands who still doesn't recognize this victory. LOL. But I think the song is amazing. It has a beautiful dreamy melody and amazing guitar harmonies. It's a perfect song to play on a summer evening.

@GyntherMeyer Ha ha, I'm from the Netherlands and I'm certainly not afraid of Danes. (We are afraid of Germans here, oh no, these days we are very very afraid of muslims. I guess that's also an issue in Denmark.)
But you should ask Norwegians how they were feeling about their southern neighbours. Were THEY scared? Or just voting on a political basis, which means, favouring their little Scandinavion sisters.

@CaiusRo I am Danish, and unless I missed all my family, friends and fellow Danes speak Danish, I would believe this is Danish - and actually it's the 'official' or 'right' way to speak it.

Of course well won the 63 contest, although a greek I think that is far better from Nana's song...
