All your talk is worthless... because if you really want to know how Aisha felt then read what she has said about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). She has praised him in every way. She has been the most lucky person to marry Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and was extremely in love with him. Search what she has said and dont judge things when you do not have knowledge of that matter.

I want to thank you for making this wonderful video! peace!

Thank you again for a fantastic look into Islam. I was already considering reading the Koran, but now I definitely will. Thank you.

So I just want to say Thankyou as a western convert for laying it out for those who speak without knowing.

I am really amazed at how you(as a non-muslim) were able to really hit common misconceptions about Islam and break them apart with hard evidence. I couldn't have done it better myself. It shows how bright you are and open minded. Its so amazing how many people want to discuss topics (whether it be religion, politics, or any hot button issue going on at some point) on hearsay or what they have seen on television without doing any homework.

I would like to say that you are a very intelligant person and I have tremendous respect for you! Thank you for actually taking the time to study the religion and defend it! I am going to spread these videos to as many people as possible because they are fantastic! On behalf of muslims world wide who are feeling like the rest of the world is against us THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

After careful consideration of my personal belifes and how those belifes were all reflected in Islam I made the descion to convert. I Converted on a friday at the Mosque and Informed my b/f of my descion the night before ( I waited to tell him becuase I did want him influencing my descion) that was 5 yrs ago and I have never looked back but rather feel more passionte about my religion everyday I am proud to say that I follow my religion out of choice and not because I was born in to it

Thank You for this amazing video! I am a muslim convert I originally started studying islam because my boyfriend is muslim and I was scared because of all the rumors and wanted know if they were true before i got in to deep. Boy was I in ofr a shock when actually started looking into the religion on my own rather than just watching what western Media had to say about it while I had no intention of converting when i 1st started studying Islam the more I studied it the more I agreed with it.

(cont'd from above) Prophet Muhammed did wait until Aicha reached puperty (got her 1st period) to consumate the marriage but this was a common prctice throughout the entire world In all religions girls were betrothed at a young age and than married shortly after reaching puberty (reciving their first period) Therefore calling Prophet Muhammed a pedphile is pointless as you would have to refer to an entire era of males as pedphiles
-
up until about 400 years ago (even later in some parts/ countries)in europe it was common for girls to married off as soon as they got there 1st period and betrothed/ engaged as young as 3 years this is ecause the avg life span was much shorter and women reached a menopose at an ealier age than women do now the reason that this practice was comon was to make use of as many child bearing years as possible. In Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) time was common through out the entire world not just in Mecca
A nine year old was a nine year old, period. It was not equivalent to a seventeen year old of our day. Aisha was playing on a swing when she was taken to consummate her marriage. She used to play with dolls with her young girl friends in Muhammad's house after the consummation.

Ahh, and 17 year old American males aren't still playing with toys? Borrowing mom's car to 'swing' around town, wearing the latest athletic shoes to 'doll' themselves up and impress their friends? As a child who grew up in a desert community, Aisha was well aware of how hard life was, even in a metropolis like Mecca. Your average 17 year old American male often times can't even make more than macaroni and cheese if left alone for a weekend.

It seems you think of yourself as something of a scholar or historian, what with all the hadith you quoted in another comment. If this is so, why can't you take historical context into consideration?

So, did you watch anything past my discussion of Aisha? You know, talking about Muslim dating and arranged marriage? I'm surprised you didn't jump on me and call me an 'apologetic' again for saying that many Muslims frown upon forced marriage. Makes me think that all you're doing in your responses here is hitting on 'hot button' issues with seemingly easy rebuttals, rather than really trying to understand Islam. And what about all those verses supporting positive virtues? Don't those go against

... your idea that Islam is an 'evil' religion?

The age of Aisha is not up to debate; it is repeatedly recorded in the Hadith. Six when married, nine when consummated. Note that this is in lunar (360 day) years; she may have been five and eight, respectively.
There is no evidence that the ages were appropriate at the time in Arabia. In fact, Aisha's father protested, telling Muhammad, "you are my brother", Muhammad responding, defiantly, "we are brothers in religion only".

"In fact, Aisha's father protested, telling Muhammad, "you are my brother", Muhammad responding, defiantly, "we are brothers in religion only"." Has nothing to do with Aisha's age. Has to do with the fact that family and clan ties were considered sacred in Arabian culture at this time period. No one protested based on her age.
