Debut Album Out Now! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pr0AyFvJLHE or search Unreal Experimental in itunes!

A re-take of the previous video using a proper camera rather than a more than useless phone. Still the odd mistake, but i was a bit annoyed since the first time i started filming the bloody phone rang n ruined it!

Enjoy the slight better quality :P

  • Ok, thank you for your answer, but he's wondering how do you know WHICH screws to take out? He's worried about if he takes the wrong screws out he will mess up the entire keyboard. Or do you have to take out every single screw? Is there a certain order that you take the screws out? Does that make sense?

  • @DutchsLadyWolf Im making a video on joystick repair right now. It will be uploaded tonight! As far as removing things until the buttons are accessible, i can only say the same as before. Take time to figure things out.

Everything will be held in with at least 2 screws, so removing one to find out what comes loose if you cant tell by looking could work!

  • Hello...my friend has a Triton LE 61 and needs to fix one of his buttons but is worried about taking out the wrong screws and messing up the entire thing. How did you take yrs apart and did you follow some diagram to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

  • @DutchsLadyWolf

When i disassembled mine, i just did it on my bed and kept all the screws in one place. If you work methodically and take pictures along the way at every stage and keep all the bits the way you took them out you should have no problems.

I am about to replace the joystick on my triton, so will hopefully upload another video/slideshow of various parts of disassembly if i get the chance!

  • Wait.. you took apart your Extreme? I have the service manual and I didn't even want to go through it. The gain on the audio-in got pressed in during a gig or something and so now it's acting wonky when I sample..

By the way, what the hell did you do to ruin that key in the first place? You either a) dropped it, or b) play way, way, way too hard.

    Great video, by the way.

  • @ORUPRANKSTAZ Yeh, iv taken it apart twice now, and am gonna need to do it a third time soon!

I bought it third hand (thought it was second hand tbh) from ebay (theres the reason). It was fine when i got it, but the key sounded a little strange, like it was weak... and it was. A few months from purchasing it suddenly popped up on the spring. i pulled it out enough so that it wasnt in the way or doing anything until i took it apart.

The 2nd job a year later was to fix the joystick with tape :D

  • Man you play the fire out of that thing. I have the same board except mine is the 76 key triton extreme.

  • @ORUPRANKSTAZ You don't happen to have a digital copy of that service manual, do you? I need to get into my TEX (88) and after one aborted attempt am not trying to open that beast up again without it!
