Team Elmer's reconstructs .93 miles of M-168 roadway including installation of both fabric and biaxial grid for poor subsoil bridging. Asphalt paving included a asphalt crack relief layer (ACRL) over existing concrete that could not be removed.
M-168 is the shortest state highway in Michigan. it was originally built to feed the car ferry docks. Upon completion this road willbe turned over to the Village of Elberta and removed from the state highway road system.
